FUNCTION :
The home carer's role is to contribute, through a long-term presence, day and night, to the well-being, physical and moral comfort, hygiene and safety of any person who, for reasons of health or disability, requires a continuous presence.
Their role is to help people remain in their own homes by preserving and stimulating their independence, and ensuring their quality of life. The home carer acts in the interests of the beneficiary and respects his or her free choice.
PROFILE :
- Diploma required : Family and health auxiliary certificate, family assistant certificate, nursing auxiliary certificate or nursing aspirant certificate.
- Driving licence and private vehicle essential.
- APE Passport
- Live in one of the communes in the centre or east of Walloon Brabant
- Demonstrate a expertise in helping with daily living
- Demonstrate your ability occupying and animating the person
- Demonstrate the ability to work in an organised department and as part of a team
- Knowing how to work in interdisciplinary
- Knowing how to adapt your work to situations in the home
- Know how to work autonomously in the home while respecting service guidelines, decisions taken by the team and beneficiaries in the context of their daily lives.
- Develop a sense of human contact, listening skills and the ability to build relationships
- Be able to react in the event of an exceptional situation
- Be rigorous in following administrative instructions
- Respect the rules of professional ethics, discretion, professional secrecy and shared secrecy
